Titled, 'Rock Solid?2', the exhibition will last from May 9 to June 29 at the People’s Gallery, Kendal Museum and will coincide with a series of events including an art trail through Kendal town centre. The exhibition is a fascinating exploration of Lake District landscape and the plan to use coastal geology to contain atomic wastes. Over 20 artists, including notable mountain painter Julian Cooper, and internationally acclaimed artist, Russell Mills, will be taking part. The guest artist for the event will be Martin Greenland, winner of the John Moore’s Painting Prize.
