Here is one of the videos to see on the big screen at Rock Solid? 2 By filmaker and installation artist Irene Rogan . The exhibition includes paintings, drawings and photographs from International and Cumbrian artists along with installations and lots of archive material. Runs until 29th June at The People's Gallery, Kendal Museum. Entry and opening Entry to the People’s Gallery is free and open to public Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9:30-16:30. “Beautiful, witty and yet unsettling” Rock Solid? 2 at The People’s Gallery, Kendal Museum ROCK SOLID? 2 “Atomic Wastes Under Cumbria?” Rock Solid? 2 is an exciting new Art Trail and Exhibition at The People’s Gallery, Kendal Museum exploring the plan to try to contain atomic wastes deep inside the Lake District’s beautiful and complex coastal geology.. The Preview on 10th May was attended by the newly elected Mayor of Kendal, Councillor Jonathon Cornthwaite on a night that saw the People’s Gallery buzzing with people eager to see the exhibition described by visitors as a “beautiful, witty and yet unsettling collection” and “You come away from this show with deep thoughts indeed.” HEAVYWEIGHTS OF THE CUMBRIAN ART WORLD The exhibition brings together heavyweights of the Cumbrian and international art world. Busy couple of days and Rock Solid? 2 is ready to launch!

After a busy couple of days making final preparations, working with artists, participating shops and Kendal Museum, Rock Solid? 2 is ready to launch. Here are just a few glimpses of thought provoking installations alongside beautiful works inspired by the Lake District's geology from the mountains to the sea.
